ePravesh® wins Award of Excellence as one of the hottest Indian Startup for eCommerce

Indian eCommerce sectoris certainly on high with many investments, deals happening. Suddenly entrepreneurial spirit has taken keen interest in eCommerce sector. We certainly believe Indian eCommerce segment has its own DNA and it is not like US eCommerce. In India, we are going to have our own solutions suitable for Indian challenges. Our focus is going to remain on education sector and coming up with more innovations which will bring simplification and radical changes in the indian education administrative processes.
Last week was memorable for ePravesh®. First, ePravesh (www.epravesh.com) was awarded the excellence award as one of the 12 emerging Indian E-commerce startups at e-sparks 2011. Esparks is initiative of YourStory.in to provide a definitive platform for early stage entrepreneurs in the e-commerce space, in India. These 12 E-commerce startups were chosen from 227 registered companies. These startups were chosen by a panel of judges and represent the next crop of promising E-commerce related startups from India. These startups will be shaping the way we buy and spend online.

We are also proud to share with you that we have been nominated as the finalist for the recently concluded Bloomberg-UTV’s most coveted “CXO Awards”. As a finalist our efforts have been recognized under the category ” An Entrepreneur’s IT Initiative That Has Improved The Quality Of Life”.

Getting the nomination as a finalist for the CXO award was no mean feat as the jury panel was comprised of the most eminent personalities such as Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, Vice Chairman & CEO, Zensar Technologies; Mr. Keki Mistry, Vice Chairman & CEO, HDFC Ltd.; Mr. S Mahalingam, CFO & ED, TCS; Mr. Ashank Desai, Co-Founder & Advisor, Mastek; Dr. Saurabh Srivastava, Chairman – India, CA Technologies; Mr. Avinash Vashistha, CMD, Accenture; Ms. Kiran Bedi, Social Activist & Former IPS Officer; Mr. Sukumar Ranganathan, Editor, Mint.

Both of the above events and few other happening things are morale boosting for us. This also vindicate our vision and efforts that we are putting by introducing simple IT initiatives such as ePravesh® & Eklavvya, to make life better for the School/ Academic & Training Institutes as well as for Students, Parents and Working Executives.

We value your support and continued patronage and without which this would have not been possible. We look forward to the same support and opportunities in future to serve you better as your value added partner.
We would like to thank entire team , our customers for supporting us in our initiative and of course entire students, parents, working executives who are regularly using ePravesh®.

Yes, ePravesh is moving forward but still we are not prefect. We need more feedback (positive along with negative /critical feedback) for continuous improvements  which will help us to serve education community in better way.
