1. Can you tell us about Current Trends in M Sc / MCA Course ?
M Sc (Computer Science) and MCA have been traditional courses affiliated to Pune University. Course includes latest syllabus and trends of the industry. Those courses offer 6 months of internship training opportunity. It is big plus for the students as they get to know corporate practical knowledge.
2. Can you share some interesting facts about your institute which will excite our readers?
MES Abasaheb Garware College attracts highly talented students from across India. Each year hundreds of students appear for the entrance exam. Due to highly talented students there is good peer group and student taking admission is assured of increasing his/her knowledge. Many companies visit institute for the internship and campus placement. As we can see there is good demand for talented students from M Sc and MCA Course.

We conduct entrance exam which includes objective questions related to syllabus of B Sc. Most of the questions assess practical knowledge of the students. Entrance exam verifies if candidate has hands on practical experience. Industry demands candidates with some hands on experience and those who have done some unique projects during the curriculum.
4. How is MCA Commerce course different compared to Science stream ?
MCA Commerce is designed for the students from commerce background who are looking for entering in the Information Technology field. It is 3 year course with some of the basic aspects of computer fundamentals covered during first year of the course.
5. What advice you would like to offer to Students for this course ?
Students should focus on practical aspects of the course. IT industry is demanding and rapidly changing. New technology, trends are emerging. During study, students should keep track on latest technology specially related to mobile, cloud computing.Students should see online training videos, read whitepaper ,visit IT exhibitions to improve their practical knowledge. Industry demands practical knowledge and I am sure students with practical knowledge can scale in their professional career after course completion.
